Residential Home Design for Glaizeview Eagle’s Nest
Our clients purchased a beautiful suburban lot that backs up to one of the largest and most beloved parks in St. Louis. They challenged us to design their “final home” that would allow them to age-in-place on their new property.
Due to their appreciation of the German Tudor style, we designed a 10,000 square foot manor that stays true to the history of that style, but with clean and modern elements. Natural stone on the exterior with contrasting black details make for a fresh and stately approach at the front entry.
The upstairs includes guest rooms for visiting family members, and a hidden “Eagle’s Nest” office with a balcony view of the park behind the home. The exterior design includes a screened-in hearth room, brick-paved patio with stone arches, and a hot-tub pavilion.
